SAP Training: Logging On Lesson Summary
To log onto SAP R/3, you must have Windows running, and provide: * A client number * Your user name * Your password * A language code Your password must have 6-8 characters and should not begin with ?, a !, a blank space, or three identical characters. You may change your password at any time, and must change it after a pre-defined period. There are two ways to log off SAP R/3 from the main menu screen.

1. Choose Log Off from the System menu.
2. Enter the command /nend into the command line.

When you confirm your intention to log off, all open SAP R/3 sessions will close.
